Sustainability Champions - Cotswolds Tourism

Sustainability Champions - Cotswolds Tourism

The Brief:

Create a series of ten short films on the theme of Sustainability Champions in the region. Businesses and organisations pushing the boundaries of sustainable tourism. Some of these were large, like the UNESCO World Heritage Site Blenheim palace. While others were much smaller, such as a small glamping site in Chipping Campden.

The Challenge:

A multifaceted pre-production, production, and editing schedule, involving multiple filming locations and interviewees, and a tight turnaround, too. This would be a complex and ambitious visual marketing campaign that actively inspired new businesses to be more eco-conscious, by implementing real-life changes. In just a couple of minutes, each film needed to inspire more “champions” in the Cotswolds and beyond, while looking beautiful and being fully optimised for various social media channels.

The Results:

This series was shortlisted in the Content Creator of the Year category at the 2025 Travel Media Awards, further showcasing Cotswolds Tourism and their Sustainability Champions campaign to a wider travel media audience. The individual films continue to be used in B-2-B campaigns in the region, inspiring sustainable travel across the Southwest of England.
